SMP F4 NEZ CHAMPIONSHIP REVEALS THREE FIRST DRIVERS FOR 2018 SEASON

February 14, 2018

The names of the first three drivers, who will perform in the forthcoming season of the Formula 4 championship held in North European zone, are announced.

14-year-old driver from Moscow Ilya Morozov, 16-year-old driver from Moscow Region Pavel Bulantsev and his age mate from Tyumen Ivan Berets will take part in the fight for the title of the season 2018.

The Russian SMP Racing drivers Morozov, Bulantsev and Berets are multiple prize-winners and winners of Russian and international karting competitions. These guys have podiums and victories of prestigious competitions like WSK Championship, CIK-FIA World Championship and many others. In addition, Ivan Berets already has experience of performances on Formula cars, including SMP F4 NEZ and F4 Spain Championships, where he performed on previous season.

“Each season, drivers of our program compete for prizes in almost every race of this championship and regularly top podium”, Says Petr Aleshin, director of the SMP Racing youth program.

“Things can go wrong, but this is why they are performing there. This formula championship was created just to teach young guys, yesterday’s go-karters, the basics of working with formula technology. We hope that in the upcoming season our guys will show excellent results as well“, Mr. Aleshin continues.

The 2018 SMP F4 NEZ Championship will start its fourth year with a seven stages season. The official calendar will be released soon.
