The second half of the season starts today as the 2017 SMP F4 NEZ drivers have a new stop in Moscow Raceway for the fifth round of the season. A two-day event is waiting for the F4 NEZ youngsters, who will anyway start today with the penultimate official test for 2017.

Dark skies welcomed the teams and drivers, and that was forecasted to be the weekend scenery. MP Motorsport Christian Lundgaard still leading FA Racing Xavier Lloveras by few points will discover the circuit, while the Spaniard has the experience advantage of being a second year driver.

The grid also welcomes Renault Sport Academy driver Marta Garcia, whom will be competing under MP Motorsport colours, while Jan-Erik Meikup from ALM Motorsport withdrew from the round, leaving his teammate, Sten D. Piirimagi alone to defend the Estonian team.

Tomorrow the action will start from 10.00 with FP1, followed with FP2 at 13.00, Qualifying 1 at 15.20 and 25’+1lap Race 1 at 17.35. The two-day event will then continue on Sunday with Qualifying 2 at 11.00, 18’+1lap Race 2 at 13.30 and Race 3 at 17.05.
